One Direction's Louis Tomlinson left aching after charity football practice

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has begun training for his charity football event in earnest.

The singer recently helped fund amateur team Three Horseshoes after learning that the club, which he used to play for, couldn't afford to buy a new kit.

He later organised a charity football match with Doncaster Rovers for October 22, with tickets for the Keepmoat Stadium clash going on sale on Monday (September 17).

Tomlinson took to Twitter after tickets opened up to the public to reveal that he had already started training for the event. He said:

"Gotta get fit for the football. Had a great training session with @1georgiekean!"

He later tweeted personal trainer Georgie Kean that he was "aching", who replied:

"Done some good work last night. Not gonna be easy, but gonna be worth it ;)."
