One Direction were the big winners at this afternoon’s Radio 1 Teen Awards.

The X-Factor boyband were given gongs for Best British Single ('One Thing'), Best British Album ('Up All Night') and Best Music Act at the Wembley Arena ceremony, whilst they also brought the show to a close.

The group's awards haul comes just 24 hours after each member co-presented a different show on the station as part of a One Direction takeover. 

Elsewhere, Tom Daley picked up Best British Sports Star and Male Hotty, Daniel Radcliffe was awarded Best British Actor and Emma Watson was voted Female Hotty, whilst performers included Little Mix, fun., Taylor Swift, Ne-Yo and Conor Maynard.
