One Direction form supergroup with sports star for Pepsi commercial

The One Direction heartthrobs teamed up with New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees recently to shoot an exciting commercial for Pepsi and they got on so well that they decided to come together as a supergroup called '1DB'.

In new behind-the-scenes footage, the boyband can be seen joking around with Brees after he suggests they put their initials of '1D' and 'DB' together to form a new group in which he could be the sixth member.

Member Liam Payne says: "There's a gap in the market for a sports star turned pop star, but I'm just not sure whether it's for him."

Singer Harry Styles then gives his opinion on One Direction's new addition and adds that he doesn't think it'll work out: "It's awful. He's too big, he takes up too much space, and he can't hold a tune."

Brees, however, seems overjoyed at joining the group and says: "The band when it was just One Direction was on the cover of Billboard magazine, but then once I joined it, we went 1DB, which is much cooler."
