One Direction's Liam Payne thanks fans for making career possible

One Direction star Liam Payne has thanked the band's fans for allowing them to have a music career.

The group were unknowns until they were pieced together on the X Factor in 2010, with global success soon ensuing.

The rise to fame has been made possible by the legions of One Direction fans supporting the group, and Payne thanked his followers on Twitter for their dedication. He said today (November 6) ahead of their forthcoming album release on Monday (November 12):

"So excited albums out so soon hope you guys enjoy it thank you all so much for letting us get to this point of finishing a second album. We could of never imagined all the support you have given us, the career and life you guys have made for us thank you so much we love you xx."

As previously reported, One Direction have been confirmed to appear live on X Factor USA this Thursday (November 8), where they will perform their new singles 'Live While We're Young' and 'Little Things'.
