One Direction heartthrob has revealed the qualities that would make up his perfect woman.

The 18-year-old singer has engineered something of a womaniser reputation since joining the band in 2010, with the media constantly linking him to different females.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Styles said that his perfect lady would be "driven" and she would excel in her job. He said:

"I find ambition really attractive – if someone's good at something they love doing. I want someone who is driven."

Bandmate Louis Tomlinson meanwhile spoke about his girlfriend Eleanor Calder, revealing that their relationship is built on dedication. He said:

"We trust each other – I spend a lot of time out of the country on tour. But she often flies out. I think the key to a good relationship is being best friends. I spend more time with her and the band than I do with anyone else. She's really great."
