One Direction want hip-hop collaboration with Jay-Z

One Direction star Liam Payne has revealed his desire to work with Jay-Z - but he doesn't think the band are "cool" enough to land a collaboration with the rapper.

The quintet spoke to MTV News recently and the lads were asked who they would like to tour with next year.

Names thrown in the air included P!nk, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars, before Zayn Malik mooted the name of Jay-Z. He said:

"Imagine going on tour with Jay-Z."

Louis Tomlinson added: "Lads, I don't think there's much chance."

Liam Payne, who recently tweeted a photo of himself with Jay-Z, continued: "I would love to do a hip-hop collaboration with Jay-Z. I don't know how to talk to him, though. I think he's wicked. I love Jay-Z. It upsets me that we're not cool enough, but I wish we could."
