One Direction's Niall Horan helping to film 3D movie

One Direction star Niall Horan has revealed that he is filming segments for the band's upcoming movie.

As previously reported, the 'Take Me Home' stars recently announced that they would be releasing their first ever 3D film in August next year.

The flick will follow a documentary theme and Super Size Me director Morgan Spurlock has been signed up to oversee the project.

Speaking to MTV, Louis Tomlinson said that his bandmate Horan has been given a camera to help shoot some pieces. He said:

"Niall's got a camera, so he's going to film some of the film."

Niall Horan added: "They've given me a camera for the movie, so we're going to be going around. Well we've been kind of [filming], we've always had a camera with us. Like when we were touring America in the summer, we had like a camera with us every day and we were just kind of documenting stuff cause if it ever did come to a movie, then we'd have stuff ready for it."

He continued: "So we've already kind of started and the cameras are already coming out on the road with us a bit more now. Obviously doing [Madison Square Garden] next week and then the tour all year next year, hopefully it'll turn out as well as we want it too."
