The lads of One Direction are no strangers to body art and they spent time during their recent trip to Manhattan getting inked in their hotel to commemorate their latest achievement.

The 'Little Things' singers recently performed a concert at Manhattan's legendary Madison Square Garden venue and to celebrate the milestone, member Zayn Malik got a tattoo tribute to the night that incorporates the date of the show along with the location (shown below).

Louis Tomlinson also got a new design from artist John Bahel at their Trump International suite in New York City.

Tweeting about their Madison Square Garden performance, heartthrob Niall Horan described the event as career-defining and wrote:
