One Direction star Niall Horan has suggested that he is set to celebrate the New Year in style.

His band have enjoyed a hugely successful 2012, with international tours and the release of their second album 'Take Me Home'.

The Irishman took to Twitter today (December 31) to ask his followers if they're looking forward to 2013, tweeting:

"Who's excited for another year?"

A follower then replied to the singer:

"Don't get too drunk nialler!! we both know u r gonna be drinking pints n pints! am i right or right?"

Hinting at a squiffy New Year, Horan then jokingly replied: "Your left."

One Direction have a busy 2013 already planned, with numerous dates lined up in the UK and all across the world.
