One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles enjoyed a dance from a stripper yesterday as he celebrated turning 19.

The international superstar partied the night away with friends in East London haunts The Alibi and Rita's Bar and Grill, and was treated to a lap dance by an underwear-clad girl during the festivities.

A series of pictures from the raucous celebrations were posted by a fan at the Friday night party on Twitter.

In one image, the singer is seen with his eyes fixated on the scantily-clad female, while others show the star having a good time with friends.

Styles later headed back to a friend's nearby house after tearing up the town with his celebrity friends - including Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw and Pixie Geldof.

Styles' One Direction bandmate Niall Horan took to Twitter this morning to update his followers on his friend's 19th birthday celebrations, writing: "Great night at @Harry_Styles birthday! Was a right laugh (sic)."

Styles' fans teased the star about his boisterous birthday on the social networking site, with one writing: "That awkward moment when we all wish we were a stripper / belly dancer at Harry Styles's birthday party just about now."

Another Twitter user quipped: " I go to school to avoid becoming a stripper but strippers get invited to Harry Styles's birthday and I study on weekends who's got it best (sic)."
