One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles has a "good feeling" about Ed Sheeran taking home a Grammy Award tonight (February 10).

The 'Lego House' hitmaker is up for the 'Song Of The Year' accolade for his smash hit single 'The A Team'.

Sheeran's friend and fellow pop star Styles has taken to Twitter to give the singer-songwriter his best wishes ahead of the prestigious event.

He wrote: "Good luck to one of my favourite people ever to exist @edsheeran tonight at the Grammys. I have a good feeling... Love you bro .x (sic)"

Sheeran took to Twitter this afternoon, simply writing: "Today's gonna be a long day (sic)."

The red-headed star is set to perform with legendary singer Sir Elton John at tonight's ceremony.

He wrote on the social networking site earlier this week: "What a rehearsal! Looking forward to playing on Sunday...My life has become so surreal, this is nuts (sic)."
