One Direction star Harry Styles has praised Taylor Swift's BRITs performance - and he reckons she looked "great" on stage.

The pair were the subject of numerous tabloid reports before the ceremony last night (February 20) due to their reported fling late last year.

Their relationship ended soon after due to an alleged heated argument and some newspaper sources claimed they would be kept apart backstage at the BRITs to avoid any awkwardness.

Both acts performed at the O2 Arena ceremony and it seems Swift's show caught Styles' eye. He told the Daily Mail at a Sony after-party:

"I thought her performance was really good, she looked great."

Speaking about winning the Global Success gong at the BRITs, the 'Kiss You' star added:

"It feels amazing."
