New photos of One Direction whilst on their charity trip to Africa have emerged.

The boyband recently jetted off to Ghana to see for themselves what money raised by Comic Relief's Red Nose Day can do to those in need.

They have released the track 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)' as this year's official single - and it looks like it will raise buckets of cash.

New photos from their Ghana trip have been revealed exclusively by Digital Spy, with the lads looking particularly emotional.

The images, which were shot by Sam Faulkner, see Harry Styles and Liam Payne shedding some tears.

A new video of One Direction in Africa is due to be aired tonight (February 23) on Let's Dance For Comic Relief.

This year's Red Nose Day is due to take place on March 15.
