One Direction star Liam Payne has thanked his fans after the band hit No.1 yet again.

As previously reported, the group's Red Nose Day charity single 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)' became their latest UK chart-topper on Sunday (February 24).

Taking to Twitter after the news broke, Payne praised the One Direction fans who went out and bought the single. He said:

"Number 1 wowweee! Thank you to everyoneee who baught 'one way or another' for @rednoseday! sooooo greatful!"

The praise didn't stop there, however, with Payne later also thanking all the Directioners who have come out to see their Take Me Home UK tour so far. He added:

"Loving this tour alreadyyy! You guys who have been so far have been incredible! Thank you to everyone for coming to see itttt! :)."

Next stop on One Direction's tour is Glasgow's SECC on Tuesday (February 26).
