One Direction candy heads up for auction

One Direction have been transformed into Pez-head candy dispensers to help raise money for charity.

The British boy band - comprising Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson - have all autographed their one-off sweet machines which are being auctioned off as collectors' items ahead of Comic Relief's popular Red Nose Day event later this month.

Songstress Jessie J, actor-and-comedian Rocky Gervais and TV host Keith Lemon have also been transformed into the popular candy heads.

One Direction are proud to be part of the auction for Comic Relief on March 15, revealing: "We think it's a great idea that will hopefully raise lots of cash for Comic Relief."

One Direction's lot will be sold to the highest bidder as a set.

Jessie - who is also set to shave off her dark raven locks for the cause - is excited to have been included in the Pez-head auction, jokingly adding: "I never thought I'd have my own Pez-head. What an honour."

The auction will take place on eBay and closes at 8.30pm on Thursday, March 14.

One Direction have been heavily involved in raising funds for Comic Relief this year, recording single 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)' to raise awareness for the charity.
