Niall Horan gushes about "amazing homecoming"

Niall Horan has thanked fans in Ireland for an "amazing homecoming".

The heartthrob - along with One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson - are currently on their world tour, and landed in Dublin yesterday to kick off their string of dates in Ireland.

Horan - who hails from Mullingar - took to Twitter after the show on March 5 to gush about the support from his home fans.

He exclaimed: "That was the most incredible show ! You guys were so loud !Like I've never heard before!! Thanks for an amazing homecoming ! Day 2 let's go (sic)."

One Direction are taking to the stage in Dublin again tonight before heading to Belfast's Odyssey Arena from tomorrow until March 11.

The five piece are then back in Dublin for two more dates - March 12 and March 13.

Meanwhile, fans and parents alike have been advised to avoid unofficial ticket outlets ahead of the string of concert dates.

Some have reportedly already fallen victim to a scam and have purchased tickets for a non-existent show at the Odyssey Arena on March 12.

A spokeswoman for Aiken Promotions said she had never witnessed such "mania" ahead of a concert.

She added: “All the shows are seated, so everyone with tickets will get in."
