One Direction indulged in an on-stage pile-up as Niall Horan took a moment to give his heartfelt thanks to homeland Ireland.

The boyband were performing at Dublin's O2 Arena last night (March 12) as part of their Take Me Home UK and Ireland tour.

It marked another homecoming of sorts for Mullingar lad Niall Horan, with the singer having already performed in the city a week before.

He took a moment to speak individually to the adoring crowd, with Louis Tomlinson joining in for a second to tell the audience how much it all meant to his bandmate.

However, the other members then decided to run towards the Irishman and partake in a pile-up as his bandmates lay on top of him.

Zayn Malik appeared to give Horan a cheeky kiss as he lay on the stage.
