One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has revealed his desire to see Busted reunite.

The popular pop-rock trio released hits such as 'Crashed The Wedding' and 'Year 3000' before splitting in 2005.

It was something that clearly rankled 'Kiss You' star Tomlinson, who took to Twitter to ask the group to consider playing a reunion show. He said:

"I have to say back in the day Busted f*cking smashed it. Come on @mattjwillis @charliesimo @JamesBourne just do one more gig haha!"

All three of the Busted members went their separate ways after their split, with Charlie Simpson forming alt-rockers Fightstar.
