Niall Horan enjoys kickabout at Derby stadium for One Direction film

One Direction star Niall Horan shot some scenes for the band's upcoming film last night (March 29) at Derby County's football stadium.

The Irishman is well known for his support of the Championship team and he got to have a kickabout on their Pride Park pitch for the cameras.

He was seen playing with his friends on the grass before the team played Bristol City.

Fan Jack Medley, who spoke to Horan at the stadium, said to the Derby Telegraph: "We got to meet him when he first arrived at the stadium. We had a general conversation with him and asked if he was looking forward to the game."

Tweeting today (March 30) about last night's Derby game, Horan said: "Went to see derby last night ! big win 2-0 ! massive 3 points ! i hope the derby fans agreed what was said on here! them owners need t go."

He continued: "Its not cloughy that needs t go! always easy blame the manager! cloughy is doin amazing with what he has!"

One Direction's debut 3D film This Is Us is due to be released later this year.
