One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik only attempts to sing Beyoncé numbers in the shower.

The 'Little Things' singer admits he only tries to re-create the superstar's vocals while he's washing, as he thinks the acoustics are better in the bathroom.

Speaking to British newspaper the Daily Mirror, Malik revealed: "I love singing in the shower. You always think you are better than you actually are because of the echo so that is the only place to try and sing a Beyoncé song."

Malik is currently on his Take Me Home world tour with One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.

The extensive string of shows wrap up later this year, and the 20-year-old star regularly lets his fans know he's enjoying the tour dates.

Taking to the social networking site yesterday, Malik tweeted: "London !! you are awesome #1DWorldO2 is open and we are performing there !! (sic)."
