Yesterday saw One Direction’s Harry Styles play best man at his mother’s wedding.

Styles’ mother Anne Cox married Robin Twist at a wedding ceremony held at Pecks restaurant near Congleton, Cheshire.

The 40 invited guests were not told they would be attending a wedding until the last minute.

A wedding guest told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: ''Harry couldn't stop smiling. He hardly left his mum's side and she looked really proud of him. He sipped champagne and talked to everyone.''

Harry Styles and his stepfather wore matching black lounge suits for the occasion whilst the bride wore an ivory silk and lace dress.

The One Direction star was best man along with Robin’s son Mike as well as his sister Gemma being maid of honour. He has been raised by his stepfather since the age of seven after his biological father split from his mum.
