Madame Tussauds employ tissue attendant to help tearful One Direction fans

Madame Tussauds have brought in emergency supplies of tissues to deal with One Direction fans who get emotional after seeing waxworks of the band.

The company put on show five lifelike models of the 'Kiss You' group earlier this year and fans lapped it all up.

Directioners have been getting so worked up over seeing the waxworks that Madame Tussauds have employed a 'tissue attendant' to be on hand when the waterworks flow.

150 boxes of tissues have been delivered to Tussauds' London headquarters in an effort to stem the flow of fans' tears.

The waxworks are due to stay on show in London before heading to New York from July 19 to October 11.

The fake One Direction will then head to Sydney from October 24 until January 28.
