UK based boyband One Direction are due to unveil a brand new single on Monday, July 22 and they have called for fans to help design the song's accompanying cover.

Writing on their official website this afternoon (July 1), the band asked their followers to 'demonstrate creative skills' and come up with a design for the cover that will go with their new track, 'Best Song Ever':

"Every Monday until release, we'll be asking you to demonstrate your creative skills in some shape or form to get you ready for the release on Monday 22nd July. So who's ready for the first challenge?! We want you to design the 'Best Song Ever' album cover! Get out those pens/paints/computers and show the guys what you've got!"

This particular contest will only run for 24 hours and once fans have created their design, they can email the artworks to fanart@onedirectionmusic.com.
