One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik has opened up about dressing as a female sexy secretary for his boyband's new music video, which is for their single 'Best Song Ever'.

In the clip, fans can see the singer wearing a tight skirt, unbuttoned blouse and long dark wig, and talking to ITV's 'Daybreak' the star explained that he enjoyed the change of costume and even airbrushed over his tattoos for the role:

"I don't think I've drawn the short straw. I'm airbrushing out my tattoos as my character doesn't have any tattoos."

In the same interview, Malik gives an update from the video's set and confessed that there was such a fun atmosphere: "Day two and the set has been transformed into an office. There's a lot of crazy office workers dancing. Everyone is very, very enthusiastic and they are all very good dancers."
