One Direction have released a 'making of' clip for their 'Best Song Ever' video.

The British-Irish boyband recently unleashed the track as their new single and its accompanying video was lapped up by fans.

It saw the five singers embrace alter-egos, with Zayn Malik in particular turning heads as he dressed up as a woman.

A behind-the-scenes clip of the video has now been uploaded online as fans get a glimpse at the making of the popular video.

Malik can be heard revealing his difficulty at walking like a woman, whilst Niall Horan is seen having prosthetic makeup applied.

As previously reported, the 'Best Song Ever' clip recently beat the record for VEVO's most watched video in its first 24 hours online after gaining 12.3m hits.
