Harry Styles: 'We were heavily involved in 'This Is Us' final cuts'

One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles has confirmed that the lads had a significant amount of involvement with their debut movie, 'This Is Us'.

During a brief interview with the Daily Star newspaper, the 'Best Song Ever' hitmaker explained that they were given a lot of creative control where final edits and cuts were concerned:

"We had a lot of involvement in the movie. We were heavily involved in the cuts. It was more about getting stuff in than taking stuff out we didn’t like."

Styles added that they filmed so much content for the project, which was directed by 'Super Size Me' star Morgan Spurlock, that not everything made it into the movie: "There was so much to get in, which unfortunately we didn't. But we are really happy with it. We mixed it, edited it, directed it and produced it."

Meanwhile, the film topped the U.S. and Canadian box offices over the weekend after raking in an impressive $17m (£10.9m).
