One Direction top British under-30 rich list with £60m fortune

One Direction have reigned supreme in a list of the richest under-30s in Britain.

The group, who formed on the UK X Factor in 2010, came top on heat magazine's list with estimated earnings of £59.33m.

Their cause has been aided by latest album 'Take Me Home' and its massive touring schedule.

Second on the list is Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe with estimated earnings of £56.19m, whilst Twilight's Robert Pattinson is third with £44.16m.

The next music related entry is Adele at No.6 with £27.54m whilst Calvin Harris, Cheryl Cole and Leona Lewis also feature in the list's top ten.

Speaking about their No.1 entry, heat magazine's editor-in-chief Lucie Cave said: “One Direction are young, talented, staggeringly good looking and adored by millions. To that we can now add ‘rolling in cash’. No one said life was fair."

One Direction's fortune meanwhile is only going to increase soon with third album 'Midnight Memories' and a worldwide stadium tour on the horizon.
