One Direction finish Australian leg of 'Take Me Home' tour: 'It has been incredible'

UK based boyband are currently touring the world on their 'Take Me Home' jaunt and they have now finished their Australian leg, which ended last night (October 29). 

Member Niall Horan took to his official Twitter page earlier this morning and explained that it was an "incredible" experience, and even shared a crew photograph with his 15.2 million followers (pictured below):

"Last show in Australia! Thank you everyone in Oz and NZ for making this tour incredible! Had such a great time! Big love! There we all are! Gonna miss all the Australian crew who are not comin' to Japan! But it's been a great tour."

During their time in the country, the 'Best Song Ever' heartthrobs broke an impressive record in Sydney after their series of dates at the Allphones Arena shifted a phenomenal 81,542 tickets, beating the previous record set by metal band Metallica of 74,244 tickets. 

Now, One Direction will head to Japan for two concerts at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo on November 2 and 3 respectively before appearing at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on November 24, at which they were recently confirmed to perform
