One Direction to perform live at 'Eastenders' pub

Having recently wrapped up their ‘Take Me Home’ world tour, the One Direction boys are set to swap arena concerts for a pub gig in aid of Children In Need.

The ‘Kiss You’ quintet will be presenting a 35 minute segment of Children In Need’s annual BBC telethon from the set of the British soap opera ‘Eastenders’.

Not only will One Direction be on presenting duties but they will also be performing ‘Best Song Ever’ from the soap’s local pub, The Queen Vic.

Speaking about the upcoming television slot Harry Styles has said: "We all grew up watching Children in Need as kids, so to be in a position where we can collaborate with the charity and help raise funds for this amazing cause is truly special for us.”

One Direction are amongst a long-list of entertainment figures who will be taking part in the charity appeal night being broadcast live from Albert Square on November 15.
