One Direction's new track 'Diana' tops iTunes charts worldwide

One Direction's latest song has climbed to the top of iTunes charts across the globe.

The boyband released the track 'Diana' yesterday (November 18) as the latest cut from their upcoming record 'Midnight Memories'.

With the song available online, it instantly shot up a number of iTunes charts, including in the US and Australia.

It is currently No.2, however, in the UK - Lily Allen's John Lewis Christmas song 'Somewhere Only We Know' is sitting in the top spot.

As previously reported, Canadian singer Justin Bieber took to Twitter today (November 19) to praise 'Diana', saying:

"That new 1d song diana is well written well done boyzzzzzz."

Both Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne are credited with writing 'Diana', as well as Jamie Scott.

The song features on One Direction's 'Midnight Memories', which leaked online on Monday (November 18).
