One Direction's 'Midnight Memories' to stay at No.1 in the UK

One Direction's new album looks set to spend another week at the top of the UK chart.

The lads shot straight to No.1 on Sunday (December 1) with 'Midnight Memories' and it became the UK's fastest selling record of the year in the process.

The Official Charts Company have revealed today (December 4) in their midweek update that the album is still at No.1.

They added that if it maintains its selling pace then the record could be one of 2013's best selling albums overall.

In No.2 meanwhile is Robbie Williams' 'Swings Both Ways', whilst Gary Barlow's 'Since I Saw You Last' drops one place to No.3.

Il Divo are a new entry at No.4 with their effort 'A Musical Affair' and Olly Murs completes the top five with his re-issue of 'Right Place Right Time'.
