One Direction's This Is Us film has broken Michael Jackson's British DVD sales record.

The lads recently unleashed their debut flick to the home market after a successful run in cinemas earlier this year.

The Morgan Spurlock directed movie has sold well in the run up to Christmas and the Official Charts Company has confirmed that it is now the fastest selling music DVD in British history.

It shifted 270,000 copies in its first three days on sale, meaning that it sold 10,000 more units than Michael Jackson's similarly titled This Is It, which was the previous fastest seller.

This Is Us combines documentary and concert footage and it grossed at least $60m at the box office.
