Only The Young single release delayed by Calais migrant crisis

The release of Only The Young's new single has been affected by the ongoing Calais migrant crisis.

A number of lorries have been delayed on motorways near the Channel Tunnel in the UK as thousands of migrants attempt to gain access to the country from France.

Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, Only The Young said that their 'I Do' single release has been pushed back a week as a result of the freight backlog.

Parisa Tarjomani said: "Due to all the stuff happening in Calais our CDs actually got stuck.

"Our management called us at ridiculous o'clock at night and they were like 'so guys the song was supposed to come out in two days but it's been put back."

The Brit added that their CDs have been "stuck on a lorry for two or three days".

Their single had been due for a July 31 release.
