Diddy beats Kanye West and Jay Z as world’s highest paid hip hop star
US artist Diddy has overtaken Kanye West and Drake to top Forbes’ annual list of the world’s highest paid hip hop stars with estimated earnings of $60m (£39.2m).
Sean Combs, who is famed for his 2001 album 'The Saga Continues' and 2010's 'Last Train to Paris', made the fortune from his investments outside music including his TV network Revolt and Ciroc vodka.
Jay Z took second position with estimated earnings of $56m (£36.6m). His income was helped by business ventures in music, sports and lifestyle with his 'On The Run' tour boosting his earnings according to Forbes, the business magazine.
