CHRIS BULLARD RELEASES NEW SINGLE “GIVE IT A SHOT” FROM UPCOMING ALBUM
Nashville,TN -- February 14, 2017 -- Country singer/songwriter Chris Bullard has just released his new single, “Give It a Shot.” Cowritten by Bullard and songwriters Ross King and Jordan Critz, the song is the second single from full length album “It’s Me”, to be released on March 17th.
“‘Give It a Shot’ to me is like liquid courage for the ears,” Bullard says of the song. “I love it because it’s an anthem for folks everywhere to give fear a punch in the face, grab life by the horns, and make their desires a reality.”
“Give It a Shot” heads to radio today and is available on iTunes and Spotify.
ABOUT CHRIS BULLARD:
The Oklahoma native first picked up a guitar at the age of 7, but it was after his father’s death when he was 9 that Chris began to find his own voice. He sang in the choir in high school and at church, and then went off to college before deciding that he had to pursue music.
He made the move to Nashville five years ago, where he spends his time writing songs and recording when he's not on the road. Chris also plays several instruments including lead guitar, bass, banjo, piano and lap steel. He has shared stages with Josh Thompson, Jon Pardi and Sam Hunt, among others, and is playing alongside Maren Morris this summer on the 4th of July at Oklahoma’s Fort Sill.
"We tracked the record live," he elaborates. "I wanted it to have a mojo, a life to it. A soul. For some reason, I kept going back to those records from Muscle Shoals in the 1960s. You can tell it has something to it. You hear it as soon as you hit play."
"It's Me," is due out on March 17th.
