February 2025 – Australian award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mitch King is set to release his highly anticipated new single, Keep the Flame, on February 28. Marking his first collaboration with acclaimed producer Jared Adlam, the track seamlessly blends Mitch’s emotive style with raw energy, delivering a powerful anthem of resilience and hope.

Keep the Flame is the fourth release from Mitch’s upcoming 2025 album, further showcasing his ability to craft deeply personal and evocative music. With poignant lyrics and a captivating sound, the track takes listeners on a journey of perseverance, emphasizing the strength found in adversity.

Mitch himself shares, “‘Keep the Flame explores the mindset needed to stay resilient during tough times. What feels painful now could serve a greater purpose. I wrote it inspired by the idea that ‘All it takes is just one flame to light the dark,’ and built the song from there.”

Mitch King first gained recognition in 2016 when he won the Tamworth Country Music Festival Busking Championship, quickly followed by being voted "Hottest New Act" at St Kilda Festival. Since then, he has accumulated over 80 million streams globally, captivating audiences with his dynamic fusion of Southern blues, Australian folk, and modern rock. His electrifying live performances have earned him spots at major festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, Blues on Broadbeach, and Byron Bay Blues Festival, as well as opportunities to share the stage with icons like America the Band, Supertramp’s Roger Hodgson, and Tones and I.

Mitch’s breakout track Coming Back from his debut album A Life Under the Sun gained international recognition when it was played at the Green Bay Packers' season opener in 2016. His second EP, The Open Doors (2021), released under the late Michael Gudinski's Reclusive Records, showcased his continued artistic evolution. Notably, his single Oil & Water, co-written with Mark Lizotte (Diesel), received an Honorary Mention in the 2022 International Songwriting Competition.
