“My music starts from a place of poetry and creative inspiration,” says Winters. “I use my ‘rocket-scientist brain’ to find structures that help me explore that initial burst of inspiration and feeling – like writing haikus, my favorite! My grandmother taught me to express myself through poetry, and I'm thankful to her for setting me on this creative and expressive path.”

Winters, who holds a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering, applies his scientific mind to his songwriting, balancing complex emotions with a structured yet creative approach. Since the release of his debut album Slipstream in 2019, Winters has garnered critical acclaim, earned placements on hundreds of playlists, and accumulated over a million streams worldwide. His latest album, Boundary Layer, further explores his signature fusion of science, music, and positivity. The album’s title references a scientific phenomenon where motion and stillness meet—mirroring Winters’ own journey of personal and artistic growth.
