Mark Winters to Perform in Spokane, WA on May 6 2025 as Part of 'Headed Out West Tour'OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Olivia Long PR Spokane, WA – March 28, 2025 – Texas-based rock singer-songwriter Mark Winters is bringing his Headed Out West Tour to Spokane for an evening of Acoustic Rock With A Positive Vibe. The performance will take place at Zola (22 W Main Ave, Spokane, WA 99201) on May 6, 2025, at 5:00 PM PDT. Mark Winters is many things—a witty poet, passionate musician, entrepreneur, optimist, family man, and a bonafide rocket scientist. He first picked up a guitar to play a song for his wife on their anniversary, and that moment sparked a lifelong passion for storytelling through music. Mark combines his love for music, poetry, science, and community to craft his signature sound, “rock with a positive vibe.” His musical roots are in rock, blues rock, and pop, drawing inspiration from John Mayer, Tom Petty, and Jason Mraz. “My music starts from a place of poetry and creative inspiration, and I use my ‘rocket-scientist brain’ to find structures that help me explore that initial burst of inspiration and feeling—like writing haikus, my favorite! My grandmother taught me to express myself through poetry, and I'm thankful to her for setting me on this creative and expressive path,” says Winters. Mark holds a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering, and his background in math and science informs his approach to music. He enjoys breaking down complex emotions into simple, heartfelt songs. Balancing his right-brained creativity with his analytical left-brain has been a lifelong journey, and music provides a unique way for him to explore this balance. Since the release of his debut album “Slipstream” in 2019, Mark has received widespread acclaim, been placed on hundreds of playlists, and amassed over one million streams worldwide. His sophomore album, “Boundary Layer,” continues this success, showcasing the intersection of science and music. The album is a tribute to those who have helped Mark push past life’s boundaries and become the artist he is today. Scientifically, a boundary layer represents the space where things can either remain stagnant or begin to move forward—a metaphor for breaking through personal and creative barriers. Beyond his music, Mark and his wife are deeply committed to giving back to their community. He actively mentors entrepreneurs and supports philanthropic organizations throughout the Houston area. Join Mark Winters at Zola on May 6, 2025, for an unforgettable evening of rock with a positive vibe.
