Paloma Faith on course for No.1 album with 'Fall To Grace'

Songstress Paloma Faith is heading for her first UK No.1 album this weekend as her new offering, 'Fall To Grace', has debuted at the top spot during today's (May 30) midweek update.

The 'Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful?' hitmaker is on track to top the UK's album chart and beat tough competition from the likes of Gary Barlow's Diamond Jubilee release 'Sing' (No.2), 'Magic Hour' from Scissor Sisters (No.3), and Rumer's 'Boys Don't Cry' (No.4).

The Top 10 is now littered with new entries as Russell Watson's latest album 'Anthems' made an appearance at 5, Sigur Rós charted at No.6 with 'Valtari', Melody Gardot's 'The Absence' entered at 7, and 'Brilliant' by Ultravox came in at 9.

Elsewhere, Rihanna's 'Talk That Talk' has moved up a place to No.11, Keane's chart-topping album 'Strangeland' has slipped 9 positions to No.15 and Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto has climbed to No.17 ahead of their forthcoming run of UK stadium concerts.
