Paloma Faith on breaking America: "I'm no stranger to hard work"

Paloma Faith has admitted her quest to make it big in the US could be a hard slog.

A number of British based acts have enjoyed success in North America recently, with One Direction and Adele two examples of transatlantic joy.

Speaking to The Sun, Faith revealed that she is being mentored by Epic executive and former X Factor USA judge LA Reid when it comes to everything Stateside. She said:

"He's really, really lovely and supportive. He really believes in me and I don't really know why. But he's really encouraging and believes in what I'm about. He's my American dad now."

Talking about the idea of breaking in America, Faith added: "It feels exciting and daunting. I'm up for trying anything once but we'll see what happens. The response has been really great but I'm no stranger to hard work. Nothing in my career has come instantly."

As previously reported, Faith recently announced a series of gigs due to take place in English forests in the summer.
