Pharrell enlists Daft Punk, Miley Cyrus and more for new album

The likes of Daft Punk and Miley Cyrus are due to feature on Pharrell Williams' new album.

The US superstar is set to unleash the record 'G I R L' in the UK on March 3 and it looks set to be an all-star affair.

Noisey were invited to a recent playback of the album and they have revealed the big names who have appeared on the record.

Daft Punk star on a track reportedly called 'Gust of Wind', Miley Cyrus lends vocals to 'Come Get It Babe' and Justin Timberlake features on 'Brand New'.

Alicia Keys meanwhile also stars on the track 'I Know Who You Are'.

Writing about the Daft Punk song, Noisey said: "This track is special, Pharrell says, because it’s the seventh track on the album. And it’s also special because it features the robots, which feels more than special, it’s like a dream. To me, it sounds like a prelude to 'Get Lucky' but I’m probably just being lazy.

"'Wanna open the window, hug you, feel the air', sings Pharrell, before literally stopping the track and allowing a moment of silence to call out – 'You’re not mad at me, right?' – before rewinding. No one seems particularly mad. Seventeen year-old Francesco Yates plays guitar on the track. He’s the Nile Rodgers of people who can’t drink yet."
