Pharrell would collaborate with One Direction: 'What's the worst that could happen?'

'Happy' hitmaker Pharrell Williams has revealed that he would be interested in collaborating with One Direction because he thinks it would be a promising project.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw, the superstar singer and producer explained that he would definitely consider working with the lads as duets don't always get released unless both parties are happy with the finished track:

"I would work with them; what's the worst that can happen? [If it was] something we don't think is good, we won't put it out. There's ways to deal with that... There's ways to work it out, even if I have to step away because I don't consider it my work anymore, that's fine."

Pharrell, meanwhile, has been talking with country-pop sensation Taylor Swift about a potential duet after she appeared as a guest mentor on 'The Voice' and sparked his interest. She told Access Hollywood:

"Pharrell and I were talking, in the breaks yesterday, and we just kept saying, 'We have to do something together!' He's like, 'You just call me. Call me when you figure it out'. I'm like, 'You call me if you figure it out first!'."
