Pitbull's 'Timber' in line to top UK singles chart

Pitbull looks set to bag his second UK No.1 this weekend with his track 'Timber'.

The Ke$ha collaboration has already sold at least 110,000 copies this week to find itself at No.1 today (January 3).

That means that the previous No.1 - Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' - drops one place to No.2, whilst Avicii is at No.3 with 'Hey Brother'.

Jason Derulo's 'Trumpets' is No.4 and at No.5 is Ellie Goulding with 'How Long Will I Love You'.

The latter meanwhile is on course to top of the UK albums chart on Sunday (January 5) with her 2012 effort 'Halcyon'.

Elsewhere in the singles chart, Eminem drops to No.6 with 'The Monster', Sam Bailey's 'Skyscraper' is at No.7 and One Direction rise one place to No.8 with 'Story of My Life'.
