Pitbull is an "old-school" gentlemen when it comes to dating, but still maintains his "dirty, nasty" character.

The 31-year-old rapper is always mindful of his manners when he's out with women, although the 'Give Me Everything' star says he doesn't let the opposite sex take advantage of him.

He told Q magazine that he never loses sight of his bold personality when in a relationship: "I've a very old-school mentality: the woman orders first, I open the doors for women. But I'm like a dirty, nasty gentleman."

Pitbull - real name Armando Cristian Pérez - looks for certain qualities in a lady when it comes to dating.

He added: "A woman wants to feel protected and provided for, but at the same time she wants to feel like a woman when you're making love to her. It's best to have a relationship with someone where it's open, where you can say, 'What's your fantasy tonight?' More than a girlfriend or a wife, I want a friend."

The star - who has collaborated with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Ne-Yo - has revealed the reasoning behind his shocking lyrics.

He explained: "You don't want a rap that goes, 'I'll meet you at nine o'clock and we'll do it missionary, done by nine fifteen.' You don't want that s**t."
