Hot on the heels of releasing her first EP of 2018, Grime Vocal Archive, Gemma Fox releases Niche Presents  - Gemma Fox 1st Lady.

The EP is composed of big bass filled beats and exciting, spine tingling NICHE classics, while accompanying BASSLINE bangers that can only be described as quick paced, fiery and fresh, partnered with sweet melodic vocals to match. Tracks from the EP have previously play listed on BBC 1XTRA for many weeks and was heavily supported by Mistajam.

Hailed as the queen or FIRST LADY by the Bassline top tier DJs such as SBS, EJ and DJ Q and regular appearances on the main stage at major events like THE BASSLINE FESTIVAL and heavy rotation in the clubs of tracks such as Boxers, Might Be, Crazy Crush which have all been featured on “SOUNDS OF BASSLINE” albums by Ministry of Sound. Performing at PUREGARAGE in Wolverhampton recently, the public seem keen for a bassline revival, with scenes reminiscent of the bassline hype in the noughties the crowd went wild when Gemma took to the stage and performed some of her classic anthems.

Having made her big break on the music scene in the mid-noughties as a singer/songwriter, Gemma Fox is here in the form of this classic bassline EP titled 1st Lady, as a sample to her forthcoming singles and further EP releases penned for early summer, so expect big things to come!!!
