The video for Psy's 'Gangnam Style' has caused YouTube to break.

The record-breaking clip, which is the most viewed video on YouTube, recently bypassed the two billion hits milestone.

However, when it reached a certain number of views - 2,147,483,647 - it caused the website's counter to crash.

This was due a technological bug caused by the video overloading the counter.

A rep for YouTube said: "We never thought a video would be watched in numbers greater than a 32-bit integer (=2,147,483,647 views), but that was before we met Psy. 

"'Gangnam Style' has been viewed so many times we have to upgrade!"
