Queen and Adam Lambert extended their upcoming Australia tour for a second time.

The band recently announced four dates across the country due to take place in August and September.

However, due to demand, the rockers - who haven't played in Australia since 1985 - confirmed that they would be playing a second date at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena.

Queen and Lambert have now followed this up by adding another show at the Allphones Arena in Sydney on August 27.

The run, which comes in addition to North America and Asia dates, is now as follows:

• August 22 - Perth Arena, Perth
• August 26 - Allphones Arena, Sydney
• August 27 - Allphones Arena, Sydney
• August 29 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
• August 30 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
• September 1 - Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
