Queen and Adam Lambert have added an extra date to their forthcoming UK tour.

The band recently announced that they will hit Europe next year for a series of shows, including a batch of dates in the UK.

Tickets for the tour went on sale today (October 3), but the group have added a new concert in London.

The rockers - who toured North America this summer - will now play a second show at London's O2 Arena on January 18.

The updated UK tour schedule is as follows:

• January 13, Newcastle, Newcastle Arena 
• January 14, Glasgow, Hydro 
• January 17, London, O2 Arena 
• January 18, London, O2 Arena
• January 20, Leeds, Leeds Arena 
• January 21, Manchester, Manchester Arena 
• January 23. Birmingham, NIA 
• January 24, Nottingham, Nottingham Arena
