Queen and Adam Lambert's new tour won't be "traditional"

Queen and Adam Lambert will head back out on tour across the USA in June and guitarist Brian May revealed that their new stage show will be incredibly modern.

He told the Rolling Stone that the production will dazzle gig-goers and the tour will incorporate a "state-of-the-art digital-based stage production": "People will be shocked. It doesn't look traditional at all. Nevertheless, we'll be able to use it to recreate some moments from the past in some ways, which is going to be fascinating."

Drummer Roger Taylor added that the setlists will be exciting, too: "Just to keep our own interest up, we'll be doing stuff we either haven't done before or haven't done for a long time. ... We started as an albums band – that's what we were. The fact that we had hits was just 'by the way.' It was a byproduct."
