Brian May says Queen, Lambert and Bowie collaboration would be "cool"

Brian May has admitted that seeing both Adam Lambert and David Bowie sing with Queen would be "cool".

The veteran British rock group are due to play once more with Lambert at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas later this month.

Guitarist May took to Twitter to ask fans if there were any songs in particular they would like to see Queen and the 'Trespassing' star perform.

Whilst 'Who Wants to Live Forever' was the most popular choice, it seems people have been pining for a David Bowie collaboration - and May is open that idea. He said:

"About 90 songs got at least 1 vote, I think, in all. Amazing. But the winners were surprising to me. Well, THANKS! Keep suggesting! We'll have a think, and maybe throw in something surprising. I note a lot of desire out there for David Bowie to join us. T'would be cool."

Referring to an incident last year where Lambert ripped his trousers on stage with Queen, May concluded: "And for Adam to split his pants. Well, that's showbiz ! ;-)."

Bowie meanwhile previously collaborated with Queen for their iconic 1981 song 'Under Pressure'.
